Airtel-Vodafone in the Community
Airtel-Vodafone is a unique Channel Islands’ business and believes in the importance of community within our islands.
Since our establishment in 2007, we have supported many community initiatives including the States of Jersey Police “Hands Off!” campaign, Alderney Week, and those which promote parish life and youth projects.
E-Safety
One of our key areas of community focus is to help promote e-safety among islanders. We are working with the education departments in both Guernsey and Jersey to provide parents, children and teachers with the knowledge they need to be able to use the Internet safely.

Jersey Seaside Festival
The 9th Jersey Seaside Festival with Airtel-Vodafone was the ideal prelude to the Battle of Flowers.
Held on 5 August at the Havre des Pas Lido, it was a fun way to celebrate the Jersey’s links with the sea.
As well as beach activities there was also live entertainment and Jersey arts and crafts on offer.
Portuguese Food Fair
The August Bank Holiday weekend in Jersey had a decidedly Portuguese flavour thanks to Airtel-Vodafone.
The Portuguese Food Fair held at People’s Park featured the talents of one of the country’s top comedians Fernando Rocha.
Along with the Portuguese and Madeiran food, there was live music and family entertainment, including fairground rides.
