
Some Android phones need to have a few extra settings changed in order for MMS to work on them.
Details are below:
For 2.1 based Android devices these are the settings to use for MMS:
1. On the device, tap the Menu icon.
2. Select Settings > Wireless & networks (or Wireless Controls) > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
3. Press the Menu key and tap New APN.
4. Select Name, enter Airtel MMS and tap OK.
5. Select APN, enter airtel-ci-mms.com and tap OK.
6. Select MMSC, enter http://10.200.61.17/servlets/mms and tap OK.
7. Select MMS proxy, enter 10.200.61.17 and tap OK.
8. Select MMS port, enter 80 and tap OK.
9. Select Authentication type then select PAP
10. Select APN type, enter mms and tap OK.
11. Press the Menu key and select Save
On a 1.6 or lower based devices these are the correct settings:
1. On the device, press the Menu key.
2. Select Settings > Wireless controls > Mobile network settings > Access Point Names.
3. Press the Menu key and tap New APN.
4. Select Name, enter Airtel MMS and tap OK.
5. Select APN, enter airtel-ci-mms.com and tap OK.
6. Select MMSC, enter http://10.200.61.17/servlets/mms and tap OK.
7. Select MMS proxy, enter 10.200.61.17 and tap OK.
8. Select MMS port, enter 80 and tap OK.
9. Select APN type, select mms and press OK.
10. Press the Menu key and select Save
